There are Ecological issues that go beyond the health concerns for a product.  It is important to use a product that will not harm the environment after it is poured down the drain or thrown into the trash.

A part of our concern for products must be some consideration for the eutrophication of waterways, the potential hazard of reaction in nature, and the pressure on landfills. 

We add commendations for Ecological Issues that are important to the larger environmental issue.  Each of our certifications adds in recommendations for packaging, concentrations, and biodegradable packaging.  We feel that though a product may be Green, people also want to know if it negatively impacts the environment.
